About the Job

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced software application developer to join our solutions development team. The ideal candidate will excel in his/her ability to:

  • Access VBA, SQL Developer needed for the development and continued build-out of legacy supply chain planning and scheduling tools:
    • Creating automated reports
    • Creating Access Forms and Excel Pivot Table Reports
    • Support and develop code and algorithms to implement Business rules in supply chain operations
    • Provide ongoing support
  • Migrate legacy applications to SQL Server backend with future plans to convert GUI and Business logic layer to web based technologies including .Net, Silverlight, WCF, WPF, etc.
    • Create SQL databases to support supply chain related tools
    • Create SSIS tasks to import file feeds to SQL rather than Access
    • Create SQL stored procedures to replace some of the more complex and time intensive Access queries

Skills Required

  • 2-5+ years of Access 2007, Excel 2007, VBA, .Net 3.5 or later and T-SQL
  • A passion for building cool software tools that make a difference.
  • Office 2007 or higher, MSSQL Server 2008 r2, SSIS, Silverlight, WPF, WCF, LINQ, and Unit Testing experience a plus!
  • Experience working with offsite users, documentation, user training, and project management

Senior Supply Chain Analyst

About the Job

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Analyst to help develop long lasting relationships with our clients, while solving their most challenging business decisions. The ideal candidate will excel in his/her ability to:

  • Listen and learn about the client’s business problems and design effective processes to solve these problems. Recommend process re-engineering changes and/or technical models where appropriate.
  • Design, develop, implement, and support technical optimization models to support decision making processes in manufacturing, production planning, distribution planning , scheduling, business process re-engineering, sales and operations planning, and strategic planning. These models primarily will be developed using Microsoft Office software, optimization and mathematical modeling tools, MIMI, simulation software and custom developed software. Often these models will have a strong optimization component to them.
  • Help the client integrate technical solutions into their existing business processes.
  • Provide training on use of technical tools. This includes both the generic tool and specific model implementations.

Job Breakdown

20% – Marketing, Training, and Administration
80% – Provide client services:

  • 20% Business process design, management consulting
  • 20% Technical model design
  • 40% model development, programming, testing and

10% – 40% of the client services will be provided at the client site. This means you should expect approximately one trip every month or two.

Sales Representative – Professional Consulting Services and Software

Under the supervision of the Director of Sales, the person in this position will be responsible for the compilation and articulation of services and product information to our prospective clients in the form of telephone conversations, email correspondence, web presentations, and proposals.

Specifically, this person will manage the sales process from beginning to end, by following up on leads, contacting prospects, and understand and communicate the prospects requirements to the Sales Management team. This person will understand Profit Point’s service and software offerings, make recommendations to the prospect to convert this to an opportunity. This person in this position will prepare proposals by collaborating with sales and others in the company and manage the sales process to close opportunities. When necessary, this person will make on-site sales calls to prospective customers.

What You Need

  • A strong executive presence with sales experience and the ability, interest, and desire to sell is required.
  • Experience selling professional services and/or software – preferable in the supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing arena.
  • A self-starter who is able to work well independently but also a team player who is both collaborative and flexible.
  • Strong organizational skills allowing one to generate, manage, close opportunities, and grow account opportunities independent of direct supervision.
  • Possesses a high level of self confidence, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a superb work ethic.
  • Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid technical and analytical computer skills, including excellent Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook software skills.
  • Excellent presentation verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to articulate to prospects about our services and products and how our solutions provide value.
  • Ability to be resourceful, flexible, and be able to multi-task.
  • Experience or knowledge of the chemical, lubricants, energy, transportation, food, or beverage industries.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the sales process to prospective clients: Prospecting, networking, presenting to clients, getting sales orders, and closing business.
  • Assess prospect’s business needs and show how services/software will work/solve issues.
  • Develop relationships with existing clients and grow our services and software sales.
  • Work with internal sales/marketing and external partners to identify opportunities, build pipeline and close opportunities within targeted timeframes.
  • Reporting sales pipeline information and contributing sales stage status information in review meetings.
  • Generating and transmitting proposals to potential clients.
  • Effectively drive the sales opportunity process with minimal supervision.
  • Entering, monitoring and tracking sales opportunity data within company’s CRM system.
  • Maintain accurate pipelines for active opportunities as well as win/loss information.
  • Provide and seek as-needed support related to the sales process.
  • Prepare and meet with business development team on a regular basis.
  • Recommend new /additional products and pursue all sales opportunity.
  • Follow up with clients for additional sales opportunities.
  • Some account management and relationship duties.
  • Some travel to visit key accounts required.

We have a Pay-Per-Performance plan, which includes a base salary + commission, which is competitive. We also offer generous benefits, including year-end bonus, SEP, health insurance, time off and paid holidays.
